The Challenge

Cross Tower is a trading platform for crypto. They have a consumer and a B2B division.

Their challenge was to move their marketing from where it was (stagnant) to being an active part of the company. They were looking to grow their visibility in the market place and their customer base.

The Process

I was brought on as a growth marketer to create the MarTech setups, develop the strategy and framework, and start executing on the strategy.

I analyzed what they had currently set up and created a game plan based upon the best practices. They were missing a solid SEO & content strategy. Their emails were haphazard. All blog content was on a separate domain, which did not give them Google juice credit for the great content. Their YLYM and EAT setup was not great. Ads were difficult because they were a trading desk, so we were limited to testing platforms to see where we could advertise.

The Solution

  1. Fixed email flow, which resulted in more Google juice and better integration between the content and their main site.
  2. Fixed their back end email bounce backs so that customers got the right TLC during their onboarding journey.
  3. Saved the company from being delisted by Google due to almost going with an antiquated SEO strategy. Explained to the CEO how to win at SEO.
  4. Advertised around BTC2021 for their trading platform.
