The Challenge

Lamington Socks are a merino sock company that make predominately infant and children's socks in a variety of colours and patterns. They were a reasonably established brand in New Zealand already but they were wanting to break into the Australian market. This required alot of education based advertising, we needed to explain to the Australian market why merino was a fantastic material and show them all of its benefits. We also needed to position Lamington as a stylish, upmarket baby/children's accessories company in an already saturated market, in order to drive purchases.

The Process

I was employed as the Facebook Ads expert and Digital Ads Manager. I planned, executed and managed the entire Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest Ads digital strategy.

A very vague search behavior by the persona makes it harder to get super targeted with the keywords we use, so we had to get creative with how we qualified the lead on every step of the funnel. There are also tight margins with the trucks that we buy and sell.

Playground Active

This client came to me after going through 2 agencies with unsuccessful results. The owner had issues discovering how to drive more results from their paid advertising efforts. They were getting a lot of people adding to cart and initiating checkouts, but not actually purchasing.

Their main objectives are to drive a more successful return on ad spend on the front end, but also needing to increase customer retention from the sales that came in so they were more profitable on the backend as well.

We implemented a new campaign structure to generate better results as well as helping to work on retaining and cross-selling campaigns that would drive a better LTV for the brand as well as new creative and audience testing as well.
