My consulting work with the Human Of Color focused exclusively on social media management. The unique challenges I faced when working with this client had to do with content and engagement alignment between what the client desired vs. what I knew would work best given my knowledge of the social media algorithm.
Because of this challenge, I learned how to lean more into developing brand new strategies that served both the existing social media algorithm and what the client preferred in order to achieve client satisfaction and social media growth simultaneously.

The previous marketing agency was developing a ton of pages and providing blog assets, but after four years, they just couldn't deliver in developing actionable leads. At ConvertKit, I focused on building educational content in the form of emails, short-form social media videos, courses, and webinars. The unique challenges I faced revolved around keeping up with the consistently-changing digital economy in order to know the best content to teach and the purpose behind it.
It led to a lot of weekly research, interviews, and constantly making adjustments where necessary to ensure I was catering to our target audience.
