After a deep dive into the data of the various channels (Google Shopping was the largest), I found that CarParts.com was not taking into account margin when bidding. I set up a system that allowed me to adjust bids on the accounts directly by margin which also required a complete restructure of the account (shifting from bidding based on "product categories" to "margin ranges").

This client came to me as a newer shop only starting in January of 2021. They had not run any paid media at the point of working together and they were already having good success in their first 6-months doing around 50-100K/month in top line revenue.
