Dr.Thrower's is a skin care brand that specifically helps people of color regain clear skin through their product line. Their main problem was not being able to run ads at all because of policy violations. If they got through those policy violations, the ads would not scale.
After a thorough audit as well as an account clean up, we've managed to clear up majority of the account violations with the help of a Facebook rep. After that was completed we started to run the ads.
Our main strategy was using results as the biggest selling point, but without breaking the before and after policy guideline. So here we implemented a mixture of happy customers who shot user generated content for us, mixed in with offers to the product to create a hybrid creative. After that was developed we setup the creatives, first person copy, and audiences for testing. We found great success with this new style of copy/creative and decided to initiate a scaling campaign.
