This client in the local and online printing space was trying to shift from a local Los Angeles printing company to a national online printing service. They had a large, messy site that lacked optimization and direction. Their convoluted messaging and lack of focus was making it hard for them to make progress, in spite of extensive efforts on their own they were struggling to compete nationally.
I first worked with this client while working for an agency, where I was their Sr. Account Manager. We established a process that was working, although we were restricted by the agencies processes. After I left that agency and the client completed their contract, they sought me out to work with them personally. After several months of consulting we started working together again in earnest in August 2021 when I took over their digital marketing strategy. I first established a page optimization strategy, with extensive keyword research and refinement of their previous local focus. Secondly I created a content improvement and growth strategy, directing their small team of writers in page content improvements, both in quality and quantity. I have also contributed some content writing myself. We are currently beginning a backlinking effort to increase performance to some of their top product pages, while continuing with more page and content optimizations.

I provided social media management and email marketing for this client. We worked on brand awareness and took a very product/ service based approach to the marketing strategy since the main goal was to get people to book a service to come into the spa. Being a writer, I love exploring a lot of industries and one such industry is politics. In I-PAC (Indian Political Action Committee), we do digital and offline campaigns wherein I belonged to the Digital sector. I-PAC works out strategies and campaigns plans for DMK which is one of the most influential parties in India. It almost resembles the 'media' industry, in which, the work should be instantly submitted and should get ready to received work at any instance. Sometimes, working on Sundays was quite difficult but once I learnt the strategy, it became one of my favourite roles. I was given the role of managing the campaign - Vidiyalai Nokki Stalinin Kural (The voice of Stalin) and the campaign took place for 75 days. Stalin, the president of DMK, is the one who represents the DMK party and leads it. The leaders of DMK were campaigning for their party, and I made sure to cover them all digitally.
The client had developed a new website in WordPress, and the web developer called me in at the eleventh hour to check the site's organic optimization. I very quickly determined that the client's organic footprint would suffer badly by taking the site live. The client then redeveloped the site in Magento, and I took the lead in all matters related to organic optimization, including keyword research, content development and on-page optimization.
