The Challenge

Increase e-commerce sales via Google/Bing Ads profitability at higher spend levels ($150-$200k/mo starting spend).

The Process

My role was to lead client communication, account strategy, as well as all implementation on Google Ads and Bing Ads.

Top Performing PPC Strategies

  • Performance Max campaign alongside tROAS bidding strategy has allowed to really push spend and access new inventory while still hitting 800% ROAS
  • Also set up Smart Shopping - Catch All campaign, which only spends if the Performance Max campaign runs out of budget. This ensure they do not have any downtime with their shopping ads
  • Setting up merchant promotions for them so that they are able to include their discount code in all their shopping ads across both Google and Bing
  • Broke out non-brand search campaigns around top performing brands and product categories
  • Expanding dynamic search campaigns and lowering tROAS bidding strategy targets in order to increase revenue
  • Bing Merchant Center set up and launching Bing Shopping campaigns (previously the client was not live on Bing)

The Solution

  • Month 1 on Google Ads we were able to increase revenue 30% and increase ROAS by 40%
  • Bing contributed an additional $80,000 in sales in Month 1 (Since they were not live on Bing before, all revenue was incremental)
