While at an agency, I worked on the strategy and execution for Vera Bradley’s e-commerce channel. Improved site architecture that led to addressing a number of on-page factors which improved PLP rankings while competing with Amazon, Target, and Nordstrom. We won multiple awards for a campaign that increased revenue by +400% YoY and increased brand awareness long-term. Proactively identified seasonal product trends to stay ahead for competitive events such as back to school, Mother’s Day and Black Friday.

This was a spiritual store with both a brick-and-mortar store (in Georgia) as well as an online store. Additionally, the client had a subscription box. The client wished to increase subscriptions to her monthly box as well as increase sales.
When we met the client, the lifetime value for the subscription box was low. It was underpriced and many people canceled after a month or 2. We worked to help increase the price and improve lifetime value with higher quality traffic.
The website was also confusing and disorganized. We helped to make the website organized and more user-friendly.
Last, we created a full-funnel to attract a cold audience and warm it up. Towards the end of our time with this client, we were able to convince them to trial a weekly sale (on Mondays) to improve average order value.
I worked with Circle specifically on affiliate partnership projects, email marketing campaigns, and online event management. As worthwhile as the experience was to assist Circle with these tasks, I still (like many) faced a few challenges.
One of those unique challenges was ongoing communication and consistent alignment when it came to back-to-back online events that took place throughout the Fall 2022 season. This caused a level of organization and attention to detail needed to sustain the work to make multiple online events successfully happen simultaneously. Because of that challenge, I learned to leverage putting structure and automated systems into place in order to carry out each task to ensure a smooth client and event attendee experience.
