Over time the social media accoutns grew and the brand was able to be featured in a few publications, highlighting their work, which then lead to receiving industry-related rewards.
Soon after work began, the brand landed an incredible contract, who heard about the brand through the publications and social media, in which the brand was hired for a 3 year period to build, design, and create new homes and cottages personally, for an entrepreneur.
The brand has since paused all social media and email aspects to take this project. However, they now have an email list of over 2,500 subscribers in which over 45% have engaged with the brand for upcoming projects and are securing their project dates.
The client wanted to reinvent their look and feel on their social media and online assets so that they could increase their brand awareness and secure more home decor, design, and build jobs.
They were receiving little to no traction on social media and had a very low click-through rate on their email marketing campaigns. They also did not have a list-building strategy in place, so they were constantly reaching out to a market that had already used their services.
I reviewed competitor brands to see what they were doing online to get a sense as to what the target audience enjoyed seeing on social media, and receiving in their inboxes from the similar brands.
From there I built out a social media and email marketing strategy, as well as worked with the brand's web developer to implement tactics that would create new email subscribers.
After the launch of the initial content, my process was (and always is) to monitor, reflect and analyze on what is working and what needs to be adjusted. This process continued and resulted in the brand being present on Instagram, Pinterest, and connecting to a industry related platform called Houzz.

Existing challenges within the account limited their ability to test new prospecting strategies and limited their growth potential. For example, prior to our involvement, the majority of the budget was dedicated toward branded search campaigns, as many competitors were bidding on their branded terms in hopes to capture away TaxJar's most valuable traffic. Unfortunately, this fierce competition resulted in higher-than-expected costs and required much of the focus, energy, and budget.
Even after successfully freeing up budget from the branded search issues, profitably acquiring new business was no easy feat. Tax services are consumed on an as-needed basis. A brand awareness effort would only be effective if the messaging was powerful and the timing was perfect. That is, even if a business owner hears about TaxJar and thinks they should sign up for the services, it’s typically something that is pushed on the back-burner.
More than ever, if would be crucial to meet their potential customers when they are actively in the market for tax services and in the medium in which they would best respond to our messaging.
This was a spiritual store with both a brick-and-mortar store (in Georgia) as well as an online store. Additionally, the client had a subscription box. The client wished to increase subscriptions to her monthly box as well as increase sales.

The website was also confusing and disorganized. We helped to make the website organized and more user-friendly.
Last, we created a full-funnel to attract a cold audience and warm it up. Towards the end of our time with this client, we were able to convince them to trial a weekly sale (on Mondays) to improve average order value.
