Dessert Holdings was in need of a new website, a marketing plan, social media plan + SEO in Spring of 2019 that would effectively reach and connect with two sets of core consumers: their foodservice consumers (B2C) and their retail consumers (B2B). My consulting work with the Human Of Color focused exclusively on social media management. The unique challenges I faced when working with this client had to do with content and engagement alignment between what the client desired vs. what I knew would work best given my knowledge of the social media algorithm.


Because of this challenge, I learned how to lean more into developing brand new strategies that served both the existing social media algorithm and what the client preferred in order to achieve  client satisfaction and social media growth simultaneously.

I worked with Econologics to help them acquire leads for their financial advisory firm to medical practice owners. They had a solid source of organic leads but their marketing team was lost in terms of how to leverage paid media to get new clients. After our initial consult, I formulated a two channel approach on Google and Linkedin to drive their segmented audiences to unique landing pages for webinar signups. After iterating multiple approaches over the course of several months, we were able to create a consistent stream of qualified registrations at a CPA that the team was excited about.

In the world of travel, YOLLO Group Services, Inc. stands as a leading travel agency, specializing in all-inclusive packages for events such as Essence Festival, Urban Fiesta, and NBA All-Star.
