This client did not have any formal digital marketing infrastructure across it's seven brands within Europe. They had no organizational framework or digital center of excellence to house their digital marketing frameworks. Additionally, they did not have any SEO program, and needed to expand search visibility across six European countries, where their target market resides.
My role was lead SEO strategist. I was tasked with architecting an SEO program from scratch. I developed the process and methodology used in operationalizing their program. I also provided industry standards and best practices, as well as a full end to end SEO program including recommendations to increase their search visibility.

The customer's main challenge was not being able to deliver a profitable ROAS on Facebook and Instagram, despite their core audiences being present there, especially on Instagram. There was a lot of engagement that did not result in sales.
Their ROAS was stuck at around 50% (0.5 : 1).
Of note, the Northern Hemisphere was heading into spring, which is their busiest time, with 90% of their sales coming from the US, Europe and the Middle East, so it was important to see results very quickly.
Andrea joined Fellow as the Director of DTC eCommerce - a Series B, coffee gear startup in San Francisco. She led the eCommerce B2C business, responsible for the P&L, eCommerce marketing and website product roadmap.
When she joined, the team has experienced some success with the first year of the pandemic, due to people investing in their home coffee brew bar. The challenges she faced were: there was no eCommerce team, no growth strategy, limited resources and budget, few business processes + low cross-team cohesion.
