The Challenge

I had been working with GenoPalate in both a full time and agency capacity since 2018. When I began working with them, they had less than 500 customers with no active advertising initiatives. My job was to help them scale their business at a sustainable CPA.

The Process

While I was working there full time, I managed every channel they were advertising on. When I started working with them, there CPAs were in the upper $80s at a low volume. Here's what I did to decrease that:

  • Implemented more frequent ad creative and audience testing protocols
  • Modified retargeting campaign structure to change messaging based on time frame since the last site visit.
  • Improved email opt-in rate by A/B testing different lead magnets and pop-ups
  • Improved the conversion rate of leads by testing different email workflows
  • Implemented HubSpot as the new CRM.
  • Tested new channels for new opportunities via self-serve and prepaid media buys.

The Solution

Through the tactics listed above, CPA went from $80+ across their platforms to below $40 at their best point. The average CPA was $55 which is a substantial improvement. Since working with them, they have acquired more than 150,000 customers to date.

Fly Rides USA

Fly Rides came to us looking to test out the viability of Facebook and Instagram as a paid advertising channel. They did not have a paid media strategy in place, and wanted to see how well their high AOV store (5,000-7,000 USD AOV) would do with Facebook Ads.

The company had attempted paid ads internally but saw very little success with it.

Casa Bliss Cannabis

This client was opening its first medical and recreational marijuana dispensary in a suburb of Toronto with about 5 other locations nearby.

They were the "new kids on the block" and their goal was to cut into the existing market share.

Most people search for dispensaries if they already don't have a favourite one they go to.

We took advantage of this and got them ranked within the top 3 positions on Google from our SEO for over 15 keywords related to their demographics search queries.

This was all done within 5 months of starting.

They became the highest volume cannabis store in the area and now they've opened a second location which we also manage for SEO.

Important to note that they weren't doing any other form on online marketing.
