The Challenge

We have a fantastic product, how do we make it more well known?

The Process

Since the brand wasn’t well known in Canada, we focused on creating a community by engaging sports fans in debates and questions about sports on the Facebook Page.

We made sure to include a link to buy in each post. Engagement was crazy, as most posts generated thousands of likes and link clicks, leading to buying on the website.

We used Facebook ads, social media management, community building and contests to reach our goals.

TaxAct

The tax industry is extremely seasonal between January and April. You are selling a service people generally don't like doing, taxes, that they only want to think about once a year. TaxAct was a top 3 player in the space for online tax filers and I was tasked with optimizing Paid Search and eventually managing all other digital channels to optimize spend. Helping craft budgets, marketing plans, and execution was my duties while employed there.

HealthyUp

HealthyUp's founder had spent a couple of years testing consumer response to the product she had developed for menopause relief by selling primarily on Amazon. Having gathered positive feedback from a few dozen customers, she wanted to launch her own e-commerce business but was a sole proprietor with limited direct-to-consumer experience. She called on me to help her put all the foundational elements in place to position the company for growth.
