This client sells a variety of gift items, but the target item they wanted to increase sales on was a lock picking course. It was a new item and I was tasked with taking a new product from inception to profitability.
During this project, I supervised the writing of the product description and wrote the ad copy. I also created all ad creatives and brainstormed and researched audiences.
It was my responsibility to manage each part of the project including the writing of the product description. I first did competitor research for both pricing and creative design. Then, ad copy was written and graphics were designed. Product videos were also procured. We tested 10 audiences initially to find the best target market out of the research that was done initially. Ad sets without adds to cart or good CTR (1%+) were paused. Then, ads were paused until only ads resulting in purchases were paused. Next, a campaign was started to test interests related to the winning interests. Then, they were paused using the same parameters. Last, new creatives and copy were tested with the highest performing audience using CBO. Only winners were left active.
