The Challenge

This client was having issues with ROAS being too low in both Google Ads and Amazon Ads. The performance had stagnated for several months with the agency they had been using. I was tasked with taking over the account to improve ROAS and sales.

The Process

I did a deep dive into the keywords and campaign types that had been used, along with bids. I implemented a strategy to reduce their CPC, particularly for keywords with low ROAS, and created different shopping campaigns within Google Ads with priority levels for different product groupings. I also tested out a smart shopping campaign to compare results against the standard shopping campaign.

The Solution

In Google Ads, I was able to increase sales 30% while increasing ROAS 27% within 4 months of taking over the account. In Amazon Ads, I increased sales 40% while increasing ROAS 78%.
