The flagship location had seen a lot of success but it was not replicable across new locations and cities. We were tasked with coming up with a solution to scale marketing efforts in a cost-effective manner.

My engagement with Rainier began with a site audit for the Outdoor division. It has since grown to a comprehensive marketing partnership across Shade, Outdoor and Industrial. The goal of the initial audit was to identify as many opportunities for UX and SEO improvement as possible that the internal team could handle implementation for without incurring additional costs.
Gruvtowl (Groove-Towel) was a new product entering a golfing market full of big, established brands. The product (a golf towel with integrated brush) was innovative and well designed, but entering a category with no direct competitor meant there was no established product to pitch against.
The marketing budget was modest and the stakes were high – the client had to prove the product worked and deliver fast sales to fund future investment.
