My consulting work with the Human Of Color focused exclusively on social media management. The unique challenges I faced when working with this client had to do with content and engagement alignment between what the client desired vs. what I knew would work best given my knowledge of the social media algorithm.
Because of this challenge, I learned how to lean more into developing brand new strategies that served both the existing social media algorithm and what the client preferred in order to achieve client satisfaction and social media growth simultaneously.
Funded startup (including Shark tank) in the health & wellness space. Negative sentiment content was surfacing in search results for their brand keywords which was ultimately causing a poor online reputation and lack of trust/credibility with target users. No strategic SEO roadmap in place for non-brand organic traffic growth.
Breakr is a brand new creator to creator marketplace that connects musicians looking to promote new music with content creators/influencers looking to integrate music into their content as a way to monetize their social capital across platforms. As a brand new app / platform with a duel consumer target, my role as Head of Marketing + Growth was to grow our user base to provide proof of concept and product market fit by developing a robust brand and growth hacking strategy .
