The Challenge

Anyplace.com is a marketplace that allows people to secure flexible-term/furnished housing more easily like booking a hotel room. They were a brand new site when they approached me and never had any SEO presence. Growing a brand new site on SEO on the brutally competitive Hotel market was the biggest challenge.

The Process

  • Our approach was to capture near-me terms. Luckiley non of the biggest brands like were going after those terms. These are searches like room rental near me, extended stay hotels near me etc.
  • On top of this, we launched landing pages for different categories like "furnished room", "suites", "motels" "sublet", "apartment rental "etc. We added city landing pages for these categories example: sublet in dallas, short term rental mexico city etc.
  • For these landing pages we used data-driven content + Editorial content
  • We improved internal links
  • and acquired targetted backlinks through PR campaigns and Guest posts
